FAQs: CAI

Posted on Posted in Uncategorized

Like many non-profit providers, we use a lot of acronyms at Albany ARC. One that is especially relevant to our community-based services for adults is CAI (Community Access Individual). Designated for individuals with disabilities who would like, or need, more independent services, CAI outings  may range from going to see a local theater production to visiting a business to learn more about how products and services are made and delivered.  Being out and about enhances socialization, networking, and independent use of community resources.   If your business or organization would like to welcome an outing for one of our CAIs, please call us at 229-888-6852.
